Blogging The Boys on Dak Prescott

Prescott's struggles stem from predictable play-calling and his own decision-making under pressure.

Dak Prescott has been under constant pressure, but good coaching should make life easier for the quarterback; instead, the Cowboys are showing predictable play-calling and not enough quick answers against the blitz. Prescott isn't blameless—he's been guilty of forcing throws and making poor decisions under pressure—but the bigger issue starts with offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer's play-calling. Additionally, there's concern that Prescott may be starting to decline, with too many off-target throws and questionable decisions this year, compounded by pressure to lift the offense and years of injury history.
