Yahoo Sports NFL on Corey Kiner

Kiner earned four-minute role with 11 carries in Week 6 close game.

Corey Kiner emerged as the Patriots' 'closer' in Week 6, taking 11 carries in the final 16:30 of a close game. Coach Mike Vrabel praised Kiner's 'hot hand,' and while Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson will likely still receive first opportunities, Kiner's short leash has grown shorter after proving he's a legitimate option in the four-minute offense. He is worth rostering for running back-desperate managers.
