Yahoo Sports NFL on Isaiah Likely

Likely emerged as McCarthy's top target with multiple leaping catches and TDs.

Isaiah Likely made a one-handed snag on the two-point conversion after Tyrone Tracy's touchdown, then connected with McCarthy in the end zone as he ran down the seam and went up high for another leaping catch on a 2nd-and-10 play at the Saints' 24-yard line. McCarthy showed growing confidence in Likely's ability to make a play for him if he puts the ball in a spot where they can get after it. Likely also was the beneficiary of McCarthy's incredibly tight-window throw on a deep over route with 30 seconds remaining, a throw ripped just over a leaping linebacker and in front of two defensive backs.
