Bleeding Green Nation on Zach Ertz

Jenkins' waiver may clear path for Ertz to sign to Eagles' active roster.

Zach Ertz's waiver situation may be resolved as the Eagles' dismissal of E.J. Jenkins could be related to the team running out of practice squad elevations for the franchise legend. The source suggests the Eagles may be planning to sign Ertz to the active roster while bringing Jenkins back on the practice squad, allowing Jenkins' three temporary elevations to keep him involved in game action for a few weeks.
