Bowers faced double coverage in red zone play against Buffalo; Cousins considered him despite leverage.

Bowers was mentioned by Kirk Cousins in the context of red zone execution issues in the Week 6 loss to Buffalo. Cousins noted that Bowers was doubled and had tough leverage on a first-and-goal play from the two-yard line, but suggested staying with him as a potential option despite the coverage challenges.
