STACKED’s take
Jacobs returns from exempt list, expected to start Sunday vs. Lions despite limited practice reps.
Packers RB Josh Jacobs returned from the Commissioner's exempt list and took the practice field for the first time this season on Thursday. After a walkthrough on Wednesday, Thursday marked his first on-field practice with teammates since training camp. Despite getting at most two on-field practices this week, both the Lions and national media expect him to suit up and start against Detroit on Sunday. Packers coach Matt LaFleur stated: "We've been getting him ramped up. He's been in the building. We've been doing things with him, in terms of our strength staff, our athletic training staff. You can't simulate football until you get out there. These next two days are going to be great work for him as we ramp him up."
