Yahoo Sports NFL on Jaxson Dart

Giants committed to Dart as long-term starter; McCarthy needs historic run to unseat him.

Despite the quarterback change to McCarthy, the Giants plan for Dart to be their starting quarterback for the next decade-plus. Top to bottom, the organization believes in him as both a player and person. Dart is a major reason John Harbaugh took the Giants job. McCarthy would need to play like a top-10 NFL quarterback over the next 12 weeks, lead the Giants to double-digit victories, secure the NFC East, and get them to at least the NFC Championship for the team to consider moving away from Dart.
