Drake Maye was best Patriot but costly red-zone interception changed game.

Drake Maye played a good game on Thursday, doing a fantastic job of taking what the defense gave him, maneuvering well in the pocket, and leading the Patriots in rushing. However, his end zone interception in the second quarter cost them dearly by giving the Bears the ball back when the Patriots had a chance to take the lead; Chicago scored on the subsequent drive, and that turnover was the last time the Patriots got into the red zone all night. Despite this mistake, Maye was far and away the best player on the field for the Patriots, and the source notes that a touchdown instead of that pick would have likely changed the game's complexion significantly. Through seven games, the Patriots have yet to play a turnover-free game on offense.
