STACKED’s take
TreVeyon Henderson's vision struggles exposed; depth chart implications mount.
TreVeyon Henderson looked like he was going to be a stud last year but has struggled this year. He has struggled with his vision since entering the league as a second-round draft pick, but had big plays last year that offset those struggles; he hasn't had those plays so far (with one exception in Week 2), making people acutely aware of his vision issues trying to run between the tackles. On one early play, a back with vision might have picked up 30 yards, but Henderson only picked up 5. Mike Vrabel expressed confidence in him after the game, but the source expects the Patriots to continue keeping Corey Kiner involved as well. The source would like to see Henderson get the ball in space, as running up the middle has been a disaster this season.
