Goff must sync with rookie center Mays vs. Gannon's aggressive blitz scheme.

Lions quarterback must communicate effectively with center Cade Mays on blitz recognition in Week 7 vs. Packers; Gannon's aggressive blitz scheme (6+ rushers at 2-3x prior rate) requires critical coordination; if Mays and Goff are on the same page, Lions offense is likely to reach 30+ points scored; Goff faces a blitz-heavy NFC North division where all three opponents (Vikings 66.7%, Bears 39.6%, Packers 32.1%) rank in top ten in blitz rate.
