Mahomes praises Allen's contested catches; expects expanded role.

Rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen has impressed Patrick Mahomes with contested catches, including a big-time catch in traffic against the Chargers. Mahomes said: "So that's stuff we saw from him in training camp. I think now that he's getting more and more comfortable within the offense, we'll continue to give him more and more of a role within the offense." Allen also drew a defensive pass interference flag on a back-shoulder fade attempt on second-and-6, helping move the chains.
