Mayer's career-high 95 yards and vital role suggest rising production if Bowers draws coverage.

Mayer posted a career-high 95 receiving yards in Week 6 and has become a vital piece in the Raiders passing game. Offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko praised his development, work ethic, and leadership role, noting he is "a valuable piece to this team" who "sits in the front row of the meeting rooms" and applies his study habits on the field across run game, pass game, and protections. The source expects Mayer to keep producing; if teams focus on taking away Bowers, Mayer's production will rise further.
