Evans likely out Week 7 with Achilles issue; expected back Week 9.

Expected to miss Week 7 vs Falcons due to Achilles injury flare-up suffered in Monday Night Football win over Washington; has developed superb rapport with Brock Purdy and serves as an easy button for the quarterback; likely to return Week 9 if he misses the Falcons game; his absence creates opportunity for Watkins and Cowing but raises concern about 49ers passing game effectiveness without him.
