Yahoo Sports NFL on Chris Godwin

Sikkema sees Godwin as ideal Rams fit due to blocking ability, but injury history raises concerns.

NFL the source Trevor Sikkema floated Godwin as a potential trade target for the Rams following Davante Adams' hamstring injury. Sikkema noted Godwin is now 30 years old with a 2027 club option in his contract, and described him as 'the ideal Rams receiver with how much he does as a blocker,' suggesting he could be a fit if Tampa loses to Carolina. However, the source also acknowledged Godwin has had serious injuries that have likely impacted his ability to play at his best, raising the question of whether a 'broken-down Godwin' would meaningfully help the Rams.
