Yahoo Sports NFL on Javonte Williams

Williams faces tough sledding against Eagles' elite run defense led by Jordan Davis.

Javonte Williams managed only 41 yards on 11 carries against Green Bay and failed to reach the endzone; Dallas ranks 31st in Run Block Win Rate and faces a major challenge against Philadelphia's Jordan Davis, who is extremely difficult to move when running between the tackles. If Davis controls the middle, Philadelphia can keep its linebackers free to attack Williams, and if Dallas needs two blockers to stop Davis, another defender becomes free to attack the runner.
