Johnson exceeded expectations as backup but faces reduced role upon Monangai's return.

Johnson has performed better than most expected as a fill-in during Swift and Monangai's injury absences. However, the source notes there is a noticeable drop-off between Monangai and Johnson, suggesting Johnson's role will diminish once Monangai returns. Johnson's performance has been solid, but he is viewed as a backup option rather than a long-term featured back.
