Swift getting healthier but declining YPC and two fumbles in three games.
For the first time in a few weeks, D'Andre Swift appears to be getting healthier. Swift's yard-per-carry numbers have steadily dropped as the weeks have gone by, and he has lost two fumbles in the matter of three games. The source notes that before Monangai's injury, it sounded like Monangai was going to see closer to a 50-50 split with Swift, especially given Swift's fumble issues. Monangai's return will allow the Bears to give Swift more of a break and not rely so much on the recently extended running back to take more punishment than needed at the midpoint of the season.
