Bech eligible to return next week; his pass game, run-blocking, and special teams value make him roster lock.

Bech, who suffered a broken forearm against the Saints, is eligible to return from injured reserve next week after missing the mandatory four games and said he is ready to go. His importance both in the pass game and as a run blocker, coupled with his special teams versatility, give him a significant advantage over Dont'e Thornton in terms of a roster spot and address big-time needs for the Raiders; at this point, it would be a surprise if Bech was not immediately added to the 53-man roster.
