With Jordan Mason back in the huddle this week, I'm expecting a split of the workload similar to what we saw in Week 1.

Mason returns to 50-50 split with Jones; expect 10-15 touches and red zone work.
Jordan Mason is back in the huddle this week after injury, and Derek Brown expects a split of the workload similar to Week 1. In Week 1, Mason had a 47.5% snap rate, 44.1% of the rushing work, and a 23.3% route share (zero targets), finishing with 15 carries for 59 rushing yards (one score) and RB23 for the week. Jones and Mason split the red zone work, with each back seeing four red zone rushing attempts. Indy has allowed the seventh-highest rushing success rate, third-most yards before contact per attempt, and tenth-highest missed tackle rate. Both backs could flirt with 10-15 touches and get into the end zone.
