Lamb is exceptional, and Prescott can punish a defense that makes its intentions obvious. I don't think Brian Schottenheimer is consistently making life easy enough for his quarterback.

Prescott punishes obvious defenses but faces inconsistent offensive design limiting his effectiveness.

Prescott can punish defenses that make their intentions obvious and has handled blitzes well for much of the season. However, the Cowboys' offensive design under Brian Schottenheimer has been inconsistent—too many standard dropback concepts with little movement and receivers asked to win difficult matchups without assistance. Against the Texans, extra protection supported productive downfield combinations, but against the Packers, the offense struggled with vanilla passing concepts and poor assignment exchanges.
