The Rams are so clearly a worse team without Puka Nacua and on the field they need him more than he needs them. If L.A. doesn't want Puka, other teams will. He'll get paid either way.

Nacua will get paid in 2027 free agency; Rams worse without him than he needs them.

The Rams are significantly worse without Nacua and need him more than he needs them; other teams will pursue him as a free agent in 2027, guaranteeing he will get paid regardless of Los Angeles' decision, and without him the Rams would rank among the least-talented offenses in the NFL.
