Reid's under-center formations built around Walker create play-action advantage for Mahomes

Reid has shifted the Chiefs' offensive formation strategy by putting Mahomes under center more frequently, a schematic adjustment based on Walker's success taking handoffs from under center in Seattle; this change has created a legitimate play-action passing game where defenses must respect Walker, which slows down the pass rush and gives Mahomes more time to operate while protecting his knee.
