I got offered Christian McCaffrey this week... I'm not really trying to, trade away too much for Christian McCaffrey, right? The second now in four more weeks, all of a sudden, if I'm seven and three and like, if when the most points scored and I got a starter on my bench, I can start trading away some draft picks for CMC.

CMC offer declined; source may reconsider if team stays hot.
The source was offered Christian McCaffrey this week on a team with a solid starting lineup but limited depth. He declined the trade because he expected to tank for a better draft pick but is now middle-of-the-pack and potentially making the playoffs. He's willing to reconsider trading draft picks for CMC in four weeks if he's 7-3 and leading in points scored with a starter on the bench.
