Williams' return game has stalled; opponents now specifically targeting his return unit.

Williams' return game production has declined significantly in 2026 compared to 2025, when he returned two punts for touchdowns. The Jets' longest punt return this season is only 20 yards, and opposing teams are now specifically game-planning to negate Williams and Nwangwu's return opportunities.
