Gabriel opened the season on injured reserve with a back injury. The 21-day practice window for his activation ends Tuesday, at which point Browns GM Andrew Berry must decide whether to activate Gabriel to the 53-man roster, return him to injured reserve for the season, trade him, or release him. If activated, Gabriel is expected to be QB3 on the depth chart behind Watson and Sanders.
