Allen caught 4 for 20 yards with 2 TDs, replacing Adams' touchdown production

Allen caught 4 passes for 20 yards and found the end zone twice, replacing Davante Adams' touchdown production in his absence. The source calls both outcomes encouraging, noting that with the Rams lacking receiver depth and Adams expected to miss significant time, the team attempted to replace Adams' production in the aggregate from the tight end position. Allen's 2 TDs represent a significant role expansion in the absence of the star receiver.
