STACKED’s take
Coleman led Broncos backfield with 50% snaps, 11 touches; Payton wants more volume.
Returned from high-ankle sprain in Week 7 and led the Denver backfield in snap share (50%), carries (9), and touches (11) in his first game back. Head coach Sean Payton, who is now calling plays, said after the game they needed to get Coleman more touches going forward. Coleman provides more explosiveness than J.K. Dobbins at this point, something the run game is craving. While Dobbins converted the goal-line carry into a touchdown and RJ Harvey handles pass-down work, Coleman is the long-term upside play who might have already paved a path to FLEX consideration, especially with teams on bye. He has likely been dropped in many leagues, making him one of the top waiver wire adds of the week.
