Mahomes was dominated by Seattle's defense, hassled into an interception and strip sack.

Mahomes was thoroughly dominated by Seattle's defense, with the source describing the game as 'much more lopsided' than the 20-3 final score. He was hassled into an interception by Nick Emmanwori, sacked once by Derick Hall (strip sack), and consistently pressured by the Seahawks' edge group including DeMarcus Lawrence, Uchenna Nwosu, and Dante Fowler Jr., who 'were speeding Patrick up.' The source notes Mahomes was caught out of position on improvised scrambles but attributes that to his own ability rather than defensive failure. Overall, the Seahawks' defense 'destroys Patrick Mahomes' as indicated in the episode title.
