Penix 25/34, 213 yards, 3 TDs, 0 turnovers; back-to-back 3-TD games; comfortable in pocket
Penix looked comfortable in this game despite missing a couple of throws early; pressure didn't rattle him as much as in weeks past, and he made multiple great throws on the move. He was careful with the ball and threw plenty of shorter passes, resulting in a pedestrian stat line of 25/34 for 213 yards but critically three very well-thrown touchdowns and zero turnovers. He's now thrown three touchdowns in back-to-back games, becoming just one of nine Falcons quarterbacks to do so. He took zero hits on the day thanks to improved pass protection.
