Much to the surprise of many, including one fantasy football manager (who shall remain nameless) who selected Bo Nix to lead his team, Denver's offense has been a complete mess this season, and Waddle's production has suffered along with it. Through five games, he has 22 receptions for 228 yards and one touchdown.

Waddle's 22 rec, 228 yards through five games disappointing; Denver offense dysfunction blamed.

Waddle was traded to Denver in March 2026 (along with a fourth-round pick No. 111) for first-round pick No. 30, third-round pick No. 94, and fourth-round pick No. 130. The Broncos absorbed his three-year, $84.75 million extension ($76M guaranteed). Through five games in 2026, he has 22 receptions for 228 yards and one touchdown. The source attributes his disappointing production to Denver's dysfunctional offense and Bo Nix's poor play, noting those numbers would be WR1 production for Miami but fall short of Denver's expectations.
