Brock Purdy had an explosive start, averaging 26.9 fantasy points per game from Weeks 1-3, but has averaged just 15.2 PPG over his last three games and hasn't reached 18 points in that stretch. In his last two games, he has thrown only two touchdowns and two interceptions. His supporting cast has been depleted with Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel banged up and De'Zhaun Stribling, Demarcus Robinson, and Ricky Pearsall on injured reserve, capping his upside. The upcoming bye gives those players a chance to recover, but until then, Purdy is a QB1 but not a set-it-and-forget-it starter.
