Hogs Haven on Antonio Williams
From the article
We should see a whole lot more of third-round rookie Antonio Williams... Antonio is one that you would see getting more targets... the natural progression is probably Antonio more. Not necessarily at the same spot, but at a higher volume.
STACKED’s take
Williams' snaps and targets to increase significantly as primary slot option with McLaurin sidelined.
Third-round rookie expected to see significant snap and target increase with McLaurin out; currently has 18 receptions for 205 yards and one touchdown on 26 targets while playing 55% of Washington's offensive snaps, which should increase. Coach Quinn stated: "Antonio is one that you would see getting more targets... the natural progression is probably Antonio more. Not necessarily at the same spot, but at a higher volume." Williams will remain a heavily used slot option rather than moving to McLaurin's X position, and his target share (currently third on team) should rise as he becomes a primary target without McLaurin pulling coverage away.
