PodcastDavis Mattek - Grinding the Variance: What Mattered in Week 6October 19, 2026

From the episode

Jaleel actually played a little bit more than I thought he was going to. I did not think he would, you know, get nine carries. Jaleel played all the long down and distance and passing stuff.

McLaughlin got nine carries with Judkins out; handled passing situations.

Jaleel McLaughlin played more than expected in Week 6 with Quinshawn Judkins out, recording nine carries for 19 yards and a touchdown. He handled all long down and distance situations and passing work. The source expects this role to continue if Judkins remains out, though it could diminish if Dylan Samson returns.
