Benched in fourth quarter/OT; clearly behind Warren in pecking order.

Dowdle received 14 early-down snaps through three quarters against Warren's 19, then was benched in crunch time (fourth quarter and overtime) when the Steelers tried to win. Source characterizes the timeshare as frustrating and notes Warren is "way, way better" despite coaching staff forcing the split.
