I haven't had a tandem like this where they both can do everything...this is a really unique instance in which we can call our entire offense with both those guys in the game and not bat an eye.

Stafford's best RB duo ever; Williams handles pass game and protection with 96 carries, 32 catches.

Matthew Stafford believes Williams and Blake Corum form the best running back duo of his nearly two-decade career, with both backs so interchangeable that Stafford sometimes doesn't know which one is in the game. Williams leads the backfield with 96 carries and 32 catches (32 receptions), handling significant pass-protection and receiving-game duties; the source notes Corum is built for volume carries while Williams plays more in pass protection, allowing the Rams to maintain the same playbook regardless of which back is on the field—a unique versatility Stafford has never had before.
