ArticleSaquon Barkley’s hamstring is still an issue, but the Eagles needed him
From the article
Barkley admitted before the game that he would have to see how he feels early on, and explained that he wanted to be smart about his return. The RB was tested quickly, during his second carry, when a Cowboys defender missed the tackle, but was able to pull Barkley's leg during the attempted takedown. He was noticeably hesitant following the play, limping a little, but was able to stay on the field and finish the drive.

Barkley's hamstring concerns persist despite return; back injury designation limits workload.
Barkley returned from a multi-game hamstring injury absence but showed continued discomfort throughout the game; he was noticeably hesitant after a leg pull on his second carry, grimaced visibly when unclipping his chinstrap, and was listed as questionable to return with a back injury early in the fourth quarter. The source notes concern about potential re-aggravation of his hamstring during limited action.
