McCarthy was decisive about intermediate throws vs. Houston; only Jordan Love was obviously better in looking downfield and getting the ball out quickly. His sweet spot the past two weeks has been the intermediate (15-30 yard) part of the field, which is good enough to have a dangerous passing offense, though he'd benefit from hitting deeper throws to loosen up defenses. McCarthy was second only to Drake Maye this week in overall CPOE.
