Bolts From The Blue on Justin Herbert

Herbert's 23-point Chargers outing vs. Seahawks outperformed Mahomes' recent game vs. same defense.

In Week Four against the Seahawks, Herbert led the Chargers to a season-high 23 points while throwing for 189 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions; this performance is being used as a favorable comparison point to Patrick Mahomes' recent outing against the same defense, suggesting Herbert's efficiency and team scoring output exceeded that of a top-tier quarterback in a similar matchup.
