Williams' route design removes cornerback to enable St. Brown's leak route attack

Jameson Williams plays a critical supporting role in the Lions' play-action design, taking the play-side cornerback out of the play to create space for underneath routes like Amon-Ra St. Brown's leak route. In the film breakdown against the Packers, Williams' route design complements the overall offensive scheme, allowing Goff to attack the coverage weakness created by Xavier McKinney's aggressive post-snap movement.
