FantasyPros Articles on Mason Taylor
From the article
Mason Taylor apparently decided National Tight Ends Day was the perfect opportunity to remind everyone he exists. The Jets tight end delivered a huge Week 7 performance against Miami, catching five of his six targets for 62 yards and two touchdowns.
STACKED’s take
Taylor's 58.8% route share and two-TD Week 7 make him a 1%-rostered breakout candidate.
Taylor delivered a huge Week 7 performance against Miami, catching five of his six targets for 62 yards and two touchdowns plus a successful two-point conversion. His performance wasn't entirely out of nowhere; since returning in Week 5, he had established himself ahead of rookie Kenyon Sadiq, running a route on 58.8% of dropbacks and commanding a 15% target share over his first two games back, while Sadiq had just 29.4% route participation. Taylor now faces the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8, giving him a chance to build on his breakout. At just 1% rostered, he's almost certainly available and represents an excellent speculative addition for fantasy managers needing a Week 8 streamer and potentially someone who could become a more consistent fantasy contributor over the second half of the season.
