Yahoo Sports NFL on Cam Skattebo

Skattebo's 42-yard OT run showcased elite blocking and his best pro running lane.

Skattebo had perhaps the best running lane of his pro career on a critical 42-yard run up the middle in OT (8:23 mark) that set up the Giants' game-winning field goal. The Giants' offensive line, aided by FB/TE Ricard in a 3-TE set, blasted through Houston's defensive front, leaving no body covering the second level; Skattebo then outran the Texans' secondary until Lassiter brought him down well within field goal range. This explosive run exemplified his ability to capitalize on elite blocking schemes.
