Daniels doesn't seem to be playing as freely as he did in Kliff Kingsbury's system. Some of that is to be expected. The transition to this offense was significant largely because of the huddling and relaying of plays, and Daniels not exactly playing behind one of the league's best O-lines. But there's a fine line between helping a young quarterback adapt to a new system that will benefit him and the team long term, and trying to fit a young quarterback into a system that takes away some of his unique abilities, or leaves him thinking too much.

Daniels appears constrained in Blough's system compared to his more aggressive Kingsbury approach.

Daniels is not playing as freely as he did in Kliff Kingsbury's system under new offensive coordinator David Blough. The source identifies two primary issues with the offense: it doesn't have enough answers when defenses send heavy pressure, and Daniels seems constrained by the new system. While some adjustment is expected due to the transition to huddling and play-relay, and playing behind a non-elite offensive line, there is concern that the system may be taking away some of Daniels' unique abilities or leaving him thinking too much rather than playing freely.
