Mahomes averaged 3.6 yards per throw from clean pocket; relied on checkdowns.

Mahomes' average throw from a clean pocket traveled only 3.6 yards downfield against Seattle despite being kept clean 47% of the time he dropped back. He checked it down to running backs frequently because the offensive scheme didn't manufacture anything downfield against Seattle's very good defense.
