Video: Rookies Are Blasting Off Everywhere
It's a similar story for Elijah Mitchell. We see him this past week close out the game for the Philadelphia Eagles. If both Pierce and Barkley are unable to go in week eight, Elijah Mitchell is probably going to be the spot starter.

Positive signalRole

Spot starter if Barkley and Pierce both out in week 8.

Spot starter candidate for Eagles backfield if both Saquon Barkley and Damen Pierce unable to go in week 8; closed out game vs Cowboys this past week. Likely to lead carries if both primary backs unavailable. Recommend $1–2 waiver bid given backfield health uncertainty.
