STACKED’s take
Breakout opportunity with McLaurin out; Quinn confirmed more targets coming.
With Terry McLaurin done for the year, Antonio Williams has a huge opportunity ahead. Malik Willis noted Dan Quinn directly said the team will see more targets for Williams. He has flashed early in his NFL career: 4 rec, 64 yards, 1 TD in his debut; an 87-yard TD called back in week 4 due to penalty; 3 rec, 50 yards in week 6. When McLaurin left early in week 6, Williams led all Washington wide receivers in routes. The red carpet is being rolled out for him to become a featured player and go-to target, with plays schemed up for him and potential first-read and design targets. He deserves to be rostered in more than 19% of leagues as a classic opportunity for a second-half rookie breakout.
