Video: Rookies Are Blasting Off Everywhere
Travis Hunter is such a straightforward situation. This is a pure bet on talent. This guy is so much fun to watch on the football field. Whether he's playing wide receiver or playing defensive back, he is so shifty and so exciting to watch with the ball in his hands. There are just not that many guys who move quite like Travis Hunter.

Positive signalRole

Elite talent with limited route rate; potential role expansion if Thomas traded.

Pure talent bet with elite ball skills and receiving ability—described as being in a very small class of wide receivers when it comes to hand ability and fun to watch in space. However, fantasy viability is limited by offensive role; in week six he ran 16.7% of routes, a season high but still not nearly enough to be considered fantasy viable. With Brian Thomas Jr.'s name on the trading block and Hunter proving he deserves more snaps on offense, there is potential for role expansion. In deeper leagues with bench spots to burn, rostering Hunter makes sense to see if offensive role increases materialize. Heading into bye week, so doesn't get a lot of waiver-wire love, but the situation hasn't changed.
