Ranked RB23 for Week 8 at DET, assuming Aaron Jones (knee) will play albeit perhaps in a more limited fashion than normal. The source would be inclined to bump Mason up at least two spots if Jones is sidelined, though the Vikings largely refrained from adding additional receiving work to Mason's plate even with Jones sidelined last season. That said: 15-plus touches against a Lions defense that is bad to horrendous is tough to ignore in fantasy land. However, it'd be a lot cooler if this Vikings offense wasn't the slowest-moving group in the league and dead-ass last in total red-zone drives (14) through seven weeks.
