NBC Sports Rotoworld on Mike Evans

Evans' Achilles injury sidelines him; bye in Week 8 limits missed games.

Evans aggravated his Achilles injury in Week 6 and is expected to 'miss some time'; he was ruled out for Week 7 Friday. The hits to the San Francisco pass catchers continue as Evans now appears to be in line to miss at least Week 7. The team has its bye in Week 8, potentially setting up a situation where Evans misses only one contest. Expect volume to concentrate on Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, with the team also expected to be without Deebo Samuel for their game against the Falcons.
