Yahoo Sports NFL on Adam Randall

Randall eligible to return Week 5; 3.71 YAC average could help Ravens short-yardage.

Rookie running back Adam Randall is close to returning from injured reserve after being sidelined with a foot injury to start the year; he became eligible to return in Week 5. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound running back ran hard in the preseason and averaged 3.71 yards after contact via PFF, and the Ravens offense is desperate to improve in short-yardage situations, suggesting Randall could be part of the solution.
