Yahoo Sports NFL on Jeremy McNichols

McNichols limited by injury; one appearance with 13 yards on 5 carries.

The source liked McNichols but noted the Commanders RB room was competitive enough that he might not make the 53-man roster for the third year in a row. The source considered Bill Croskey-Merritt, Fatman Allen, and Rachaad White as roster locks, with McNichols ahead of Jerome Ford if the team kept 4 backs. The update shows McNichols' 2026 availability was limited by injury, but the team opened the season with Bill, Kaytron, and Rachaad on the 53-man roster. McNichols appeared once with 13 yards on 5 carries.
